Catie & Jeremy’s Key Largo Wedding at Bakers Cay Resort was an intimate micro wedding, and it was unique to their personalities!

I love it when couples do things their own way when it comes to their wedding day! Catie and Jeremy kept the focus of their day on each other and the ones they love. They flew in to Key Largo from Colorado to have their laid-back wedding at Bakers Cay Resort. The resort is such a gorgeous location to soak up the ‘summer all year long’ vibe of South Florida. And, it has some great spots to shoot photos! Like the vibrant pineapple mural wall, and the crisp all-white walkways with art-deco lanterns. Of course, we can’t forget my favorite spot, which is on the dock down by the water!

To begin their day, Catie had a first look with her Dad and then her groom. And can I tell you that they were so overcome with joy that they both teared up at first glance! It was so sweet! For their ceremony, they had their baby doggie on hand to witness their vows. Did you know that the state of Florida allows you to have your furbaby as your official witness on your marriage license? It’s true! Luckily for Catie and Jeremy, Baker’s Cay Resort is a dog-friendly venue so they were able to include their sweet pup in their ceremony and their wedding day photos.

For their reception, they kept everything true to the laid-back vibes of a Key Largo wedding. Because it was such an intimate wedding all of their guests were able to sit at the same long family-style table and enjoy some delicious food and live music. They skipped the dance floor, the toasts, and all the usual trappings of a large-scale wedding and enjoyed each other’s company as they begin this new chapter in their lives.
