Chris and Micaela are both wedding photographers who briefly met in Arizona during a photography conference, Showit United, in November 2017. Chris is from South Florida and Micaela is from Canada.

Although they weren’t formally introduced at the conference, Chris noticed Micaela and made a mental note of her cuteness and outgoing personality.

After the conference was over, Chris went on a hunt to find more information about the pretty girl who had caught his eye. Thanks to social media he quickly found out who she was and luckily they had a friend in common who happened to also be Micaela’s neighbor (what are the chances of that). She helped Chris connect to Micaela and made the formal e-introductions.

Chris and Micaela became social media friends and then quickly their five minutes conversations turned into 5, 6, 7 hours long deep conversations where they talked about everything from food, family, superheroes, favorite movies, and faith. They have so much in common that it was easy for them to connect and open up to the possibility of being more than just long-distance friends.

On March 28th, Chris proposed to Micaela and of course she said YESSS!!! They will be tying the knot this November 2nd in Davie, Florida.

After the wedding celebration, Chris and Micaela are planning to fly to the Showit United conference where they will begin their honeymoon at the place they first met!
