Vizcaya Museum Engagement Session | Jennyfer and Alexis

Jennyfer and Alexis’ Vizcaya Museum Engagement session was full of smiles, kisses, and even a little dancing!

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is a historic villa and estate located in Biscayne Bay. The construction of Vizcaya dates all the way back to 1912. Today, the property is considered a national historical landmark. It serves as a museum, a wedding venue, and a spot that locals frequent for professional photoshoots.

My bride and groom, Jennyfer and Alexis chose Vizcaya to celebrate their love story and they worked with me to capture their engagement photos!

Here’s the backstory of how they met!

We met at a friend’s birthday party celebration when I asked Alexis to dance salsa. Then started hanging out and eventually led to Alexis asking me out to be his girlfriend on Dec 6, 2008. Then our story began. Now, that same friend who introduced us married Alexis’ twin brother

When the couple meets by salsa dancing at a friend’s birthday party, you know that their engagement photos have to include a few dips and twirls!

Vizcaya was a bit drizzly and damp on the day we visited but my couple didn’t let that stop them from enjoying their moment. I even caught them under their umbrellas towards the end of the session, and they were still full of smiles and nothing but love! During our time together, we explored the grounds of Vizcaya to capture every breathtaking location on the grounds. From the stone stairway to the loggia, the archways, and the barge overlooking green-blue waters of Biscayne Bay! You’ll get to see it all below!

In addition to salsa dancing, Jennyfer and Alexis also enjoy curling up at home for the night to watch their favorite shows. Some of their favorite shows to watch together are Friends, Big Bang Theory, House, Game of Thrones, Dexter, Aqui no hay quien viva, and Money Heist!
