The Cuban design influence can still be seen today in the tiles of the dining room inside the home. Outside, you’ll find sweeping archways and a stone fountain courtyard!
Villa Woodbine was originally built in the 1930s as a mansion home for Mr. and Mrs. Charles Boyd. At that time, the mansion served as their warm escape from the harsh winters of their home in Wisconsin. The Boyds’ estate later passed to their daughter Martha, who found it difficult to maintain. From there she began leasing the property. It wasn’t until many years later that Bill and Terry Hansen opened the doors of Villa Woodbine to the community. Making it a premier location where life’s milestones could be celebrated under its enchanting archways.
