Meet Melissa and T.J. Truly they are sweet souls.

Here is a little about their love story:

Melissa and T.J. met through a mutual friend back in 2012 and they bonded instantly! In November, T.J. asked Melissa to be his girlfriend and of course, she said, “YES”!

Every November, Mel and T.J. celebrated their anniversary by heading over to Key West, their favorite place in the Florida Keys.

However, in November of 2016, T.J. planned a special surprise for Melissa during their annual Key West Trip. T.J. had secretly arranged for a private sailboat to take them on a sunset cruise!

Melissa was surprised and excited since she had been expecting to go on a tarpon charter. Little did she know that T.J. was about to propose.

Once they arrived at the marina, a captain waved them down and invited them to a private sailboat! Melissa couldn’t have been more excited since neither of them had ever been sailing before.

They sailed past Mallory Square and around Sunset Key. It was pretty windy out, but the sunset was absolutely STUNNING! The captain offered to take some pictures, and they agreed. So the captain waited until the boat was in the perfect spot and let them walk to the bow.

Melissa turned around to look at the sunset, and when she looked back at T.J., he was down on one knee, saying, “Babe, will you marry me?”

“Of, course I marry you!” she replied.

Melissa was shocked and so unbelievably happy! T.J. couldn’t have picked a more perfect place and way to pop the question.

They spent the rest of the time hanging out on the bow, watching the gorgeous Key West sunset, and sipping some bubbly! T.J and Melissa will be getting married at The Islander Resort in Islamorada, FL.
