This Coconut Palm Inn Wedding Welcome Party was an amazing celebration for a couple that hosted their destination wedding in Key Largo!

Courtney and Eric were focused on having a laid-back tropical celebration for their destination wedding in Key Largo. To keep with their vibe they decided to welcome their guests to their resort with a wedding welcome party. Isn’t that such a fun idea? It’s a great way for your guests to mingle and relax before the formalities of your wedding day begin!

My soon-to-be bride and groom really thought about the experience that they wanted to provide for their guests at their welcome party. Every detail from their sand-colored welcome bags to their signature drink (called a “mint to be mojito”!) was carefully planned to perfection! They delighted their guests to the sounds of live music. All while snacking on what seemed like a sky-high charcuterie board! Tables were set with native tropical flowers and custom printed napkins. Meanwhile, their guests waited patiently for the roast pork as it cooked to perfection.

As the sun slowly set over Key Largo, I snuck Courtney and Eric away from their guests so that we could squeeze in a portrait session on the dock. It was so sweet to see them interact with each other as a couple, away from the eyes of their guests. They were very at ease with each other and Eric was not afraid to steal some kisses from his bride in front of the camera!
